    This group is for teachers who are using or considering using the Holocaust Studies and Critical Thinking resources from SV FACES
  • SVCCJ-HolStud - SV FACES Students' Holocaust Discussion
    This group is for students' questions and discussion of issues raised in the Holocaust and Critical Thinking classes taught through the SV FACES.
  • SVCCJ-HolVol - SV FACES Holocaust Volunteers
    This group is for volunteers who work in connection with the Holocaust and Critical Studies classes offered through the SV FACES.
About the program
  • Educates about human rights abuses, past and present, and genocide by using the Holocaust as prime example.
  • Demonstrates the deadly consequences of hatred backed by institutional and organized group power.
  • Connects today's local youth to the range of survivors and rescuers right here in their own families and communities.
  • Enables students to draw visceral connections between small daily acts around them, and the acts of mass murder and genocide these have led to in the past.
  • Empowers students to recognize and resist the lure of propaganda and hate groups today.
Collaboration with South Bay Holocaust Survivors' Group

A partnership between SV FACES and Jewish Family Service of Silicon Valley Holocaust Survivor's Group Speakers Bureau brings survivor speakers to your classroom or school. These vibrant and engaging speakers are eager to share their stories with the next generation.
