About the program
- Educates about human rights abuses, past and present, and genocide
by using the Holocaust as prime example.
- Demonstrates the deadly consequences of hatred backed by institutional
and organized group power.
- Connects today's local youth to the range of survivors and rescuers
right here in their own families and communities.
- Enables students to draw visceral connections between small daily
acts around them, and the acts of mass murder and genocide these have
led to in the past.
- Empowers students to recognize and resist the lure of propaganda
and hate groups today.
