July 2, 2009 Update: We met the Challenge! See details here.
We've Received a Challenge!
We're delighted to announce that SV FACES has been awarded a challenge grant by the Morgan Family Foundation in the amount of $100,000!

This money, and the matching funds we will raise, will be designated for capacity building. In terms of our infrastructure our goals are to:
- re-establish a development function for the agency once the $100,000 matching funds have been raised;
- hire a part-time program associate once the challenge pledge monies are received from the Morgan Family Foundation;
- increase the number of Board members by 3 this fiscal year; and
- begin discussions at the May 2009 Board meeting for developing a strategic plan.
In terms of our programs we plan to:
- expand Camp Everytown by 2 camps this school year;
- increase Common Ground bookings by 1 this school year;
- increase Leadership Today bookings by 1 this school year;
- redesign Building Connections and re-launch in the Fall of 2009; and
- hire 1 additional Victim Witness Assistance Advocate with agency money by June 30, 2009.
In order to qualify, the monies we raise need to be "new and increased gifts." If you would like to help us reach (or surpass!) the $100,000 match required to secure the Morgan Family Foundation funds, please send your contribution to:
