These students, who come from the high schools of the East Side Union High School District, have successfully translated Dr. King’s words for their generation. Our long-time friends at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company have provided the cash awards, along with our new sponsor, Kaiser Permanente San Jose. Lockheed Martin will once again produce the Dr. King Calendar and will professionally frame the first place winners in writing and art. Damian Trujillo, news reporter from NBC BAY AREA will be MC. Thanks to NBC BAY AREA entertainment will be provided by a Harlem Globetrotter.
